Watermelon Agua Fresca
Aguas frescas (Spanish "fresh waters") are a combination of fruits, cereals, flowers, or seeds blended with sugar and water to make light non-alcoholic beverages. (Source: Wikipedia) Today, we made a watermelon one, no sugar added! Refreshing, sweet, citrusy!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 watermelon
  • 1/2 cup water to blend, if needed
  • 2 tbsp sugar/sweetener optional, I didn't use any
  • 1 lime, juiced save a few slices for garnish
  • 10-12 mint leaves
  • pinch of Salt

Ingredients
  • 1/2 watermelon
  • 1/2 cup water to blend, if needed
  • 2 tbsp sugar/sweetener optional, I didn't use any
  • 1 lime, juiced save a few slices for garnish
  • 10-12 mint leaves
  • pinch of Salt
Instructions
  1. Chop the watermelon into big chunks, remove the seeds as much as possible
  2. Blend with lime juice, sugar and water if using
  3. Pour over ice in tall glasses, garnish with mint leaves, and a slice of lime
  4. I seem to have an incurable urge to salt all my fruits. Totally optional, sprinkle some salt over the juice, and Enjoy!
