Lime Masala Soda
It's summer. Today's recipe is an easy cooler that's healthy as well. Play with the spices and come up with something that you like the best, but stick to a few basic ones - salt, a bit of sweetener, some chaat masala, and roasted cumin powder. And of course, fresh lime or lemon juice.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup juice from lemons or limes
  • 1 cup ice cold water
  • 1 tbsp sweetener of your choice
  • 1 cup/8 oz soda sprite, 7 up, or regular plain soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp black salt/kala namak
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder roast cumin seeds dry, powder
  • 4 mint leaves for garnish

  • 1 cup/8 oz soda sprite, 7 up, or regular plain soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp black salt/kala namak
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder roast cumin seeds dry, powder
  • 4 mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
  1. Take a bowl/pitcher
  2. Add lime juice, and salts, sugar/honey/agave and chaat masala
  3. add soda
  4. Mix everything, serve ice cold, garnished with mint leaves
