Sweet Potato (Baked) Fries
Sweet potato sticks, baked, with Indian spices. What's not to love! They tasted awesome, and went great with the black bean burgers we had for dinner last night!

  • 1 medium sweet potato
  • 1 tsp lite tasting olive oil/avocado oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Hing/asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder

  • 1 medium sweet potato
  • 1 tsp lite tasting olive oil/avocado oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Hing/asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven at 425
  2. Peel and chop the sweet potato into sticks
  3. In a deep bowl, mix the sweet potatoes, oil, salt, hing, and chili powder and rub until they're completely coated
  4. Place on a baking tray
  5. Bake for 20 minutes at 425 deg Farenheit
  6. Serve with condiment of your choice; I made a dip of yogurt with salt, black pepper, and black salt (kala namak, found in Indian grocery stores)
